11 The mayor of Zaragoza, Coahuila, Saul Vara Rivera, was found dead in a gap in the municipality of Galeana, Nuevo Leon, on Friday afternoon. The officer's body had several impacts "goat horn" and was found murdered at least one shot in the head and was identified thanks to the voter that he carried on the back pocket of his trousers.

state authorities confirmed the identity of Vara Rivera, whose remains were found in a gap called Peñuelas, in the town of Galeana, near the road to Matehuala. in that town, near the border of Coahuila, Zacatecas and San Luis Potosi. According to information received by the Attorney General, the body had wounds apparently caused by a firearm projectile and the place is located .762-caliber shell casings
Elements of the State Investigation Agency were transferred to arrived on the scene to confirm that it was the mayor. Tonight
expected the arrival of the body to the Amphitheatre of the University Hospital and the presence of one of the sons of the mayor for full identification.
